Colorado Muslim community response to Boulder attack on Run for Their Lives participants

Denver, CO - The Muslim community in Colorado expresses our profound sadness and condemnation regarding the recent act of violence at the Pearl Street Mall. Our hearts go out to all those injured and affected by this deplorable cowardly attack, and we wish them all a swift and full recovery.

We reject the attack and his claim of advocating for Palestinians. We preserve and protect the fundamental right to peaceful protest, a cornerstone of our democracy. Hate and violence can never be tolerated. The actions of individuals who resort to violence not only undermine the legitimate exercise of free speech but also inflict harm on innocent lives and sow division within our communities.

The Muslim community in Colorado is committed to working alongside all faith groups and community leaders to foster an environment of mutual respect and understanding. When facing tragedy, it is more important than ever that we stand united against hate and work collectively to build a more peaceful and harmonious society.

Youth empowerment & development.

Empowering, relevant, and collaborative.

We provide opportunities for Colorado Muslim youth to lead prayers, deliver sermons, and become effective leaders.

We work in harmony with other organizations to establish mutually beneficial relationships to provide resources and care for our Aurora neighbors, Muslims and non Muslims alike.

Khutbah Training

Leadership opportunities are often few and far between for Muslim youth. Offering our youth the ability to practice religious leadership is even more rare. At Masjid ArRahmah this is one our primary concerns. We offer training, experience and a positive environment to nurture Colorado Muslim youth’s ability to develop and deliver uplifting Islamic lectures, sermons and short reminders.

Community Service

Masjid ArRahmah is faith community that is focused on investing in the next generation of Colorado Muslims. We believe that community service offers many essential life lessons and positive experiences. Volunteering nurtures a sense of civic duty, empowerment and concern for the wellbeing of others. We partner with local community organizations to help our neighbors in need and build new relationships with other communities of good will.
