Redefining Beauty
Is part of the Jamilah & The Beast programming and is a sister’s focused (only some sessions are exclusively for women) weekend of events. The program — which includes halaqas, workouts, and panel discussions — can be found below (updates to come). Our guest speaker and instructor is Sister Kusloom Abdullah Ph.D., an AI engineer who previously worked as a data scientist. Kulsoom is a Pakistani-American competitive Olympic weightlifter and advocate for athletes to compete in attire that adheres to their religious beliefs. This program is brought to you by Crescent View Academy (CVA), MAS-Colorado, Muslim Youth for a Positive Impact (MYPI), and Masjid ArRahmah.
